For decades, artists have represented the values and behavioural patterns of contemporary society by employing new forms of knowledge and content. So how are they utilising the immersive landscape of gaming to expose new commentaries? And how are they addressing the rising discourse between real and virtual worlds in a meaningful way?

This event will include a short talk about Simon Games’ recent projects. Simon Games create Mobile Social Games – games played in the street with other people, face to face and over the Internet. Drawing on the history of storytelling, theatre and cinema, Simon’s Johnson and Evans offer an alternative perspective on social spaces and cultural communication. Their brief introduction will be followed by an open discussion.
